  • Review decisions will not be made until we receive every component of your application. We will contact you to let you know we have received your application, and to arrange a phone interview (if necessary).

We will generally notify you of your acceptance or denial within thirty days of your phone interview. Applicants are not accepted to any IHOPU program until they have received an official notification of acceptance from the IHOPU Admissions office.

  • Mail all forms together in one packet to:
    International House of Prayer University
    Admissions
    12901 S. US Highway 71
    Grandview, MO 64030

  • At this time, housing is only provided for Fire in the Night and One Thing Internships (singles aged 25 and under). However, upon your acceptance to IHOPU, you will have access to IHOPU’s Student Housing and Roommate Lists.

  • An application can be submitted and accepted to a program, but enrollment will be provisional until a diploma/GED is submitted. Proof of Secondary/High School graduation must be provided prior to the start of the program.

  • For Domestic students, a part-time work is possible, but we recommend not more than 20 hours a week. For Domestic Interns, work is not recommended during the program because of the full-time, focused schedule.

  • Limited scholarships are available, based on need, after acceptance to a program.

  • Students are responsible to find their own transportation whether they are living on- or off-campus. We ask that students with vehicles offer rides to their classmates, and that students without vehicles be prepared to offer gas money to those giving them rides.

  • A laptop is not essential but is highly recommended. The majority of assignments will be submitted via an online platform. The majority of communication from IHOPU administration and faculty will also be done online. There are limited computers available for use in the IHOPU Campus Library.

  • Besides classes, spending time in the prayer room (around 8-12 hours/week) is part of the curriculum for our schools and internships.

  • We ask first semester students and Track 1 Interns to not begin dating during the program.
