EDUCATIONAL MODEL
24/7 prayer now has a 24/7 global classroom.
For those who want to study from where they live, IHOPU now offers a Global Classroom Experience. Other online programs offer the ability to do classwork at any time, but we are doing something entirely new. No other school on Earth is connecting online students with each other for an Integrated Classroom experience.
We have Flipped the Classroom
Our instructors film lectures ahead of time, and students come together from all over the globe to join virtually, in real-time discussions from Kansas City. Utilizing Zoom Room technology, our classes are equipped to allow two-directional interactive discussion between the instructor and each online student at the same time.
We're Passionate About Our Students
We value our students around the globe being connected with each other and what’s happening here in Kansas City. We make special accommodations for those who live in time zones that joining live is not possible because of their sleep schedule. We record all of our live discussions and make them available usually within 24 hours. The rest of our courses include accessing the teaching videos, reading assignments, online forum discussions, and other interactive assignments.

TRAINING PROGRAMS FROM IHOPKC
On May 7, 1999, the International House of Prayer of Kansas City (IHOPKC) was founded by Mike Bickle and twenty full-time “intercessory missionaries,” who cried out to God in prayer with worship for thirteen hours each day. Only two months earlier, the
Forerunner School of Prayer was started. It of course, became the International House of Prayer University. Learn more about IHOPU by visiting our English website at ihopu.org.
The International House of Prayer is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose, as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact every sphere of society. Our vision is to work in relationship with the wider Body of Christ to engage in the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.
The Lord has called us to be a community of believers committed to God, each other, and to establishing and maintaining a 24/7 house of prayer in Kansas City—a perpetual solemn assembly gathering corporately to fast and pray in the spirit of the tabernacle of
David. We are committed to prayer, fasting, the Great Commission, and to living as forerunners, spiritually preparing for the unique dynamics of the end times. The work of our ministry includes equipping and sending out missionaries as dedicated intercessors and evangelists who work to see revival within the Church and a harvest among those searching for God. IHOPU is an outward expression of how seriously we take the mandate to train believers to love Jesus and others wholeheartedly, as together we go forth to preach the Word, heal the sick, serve the poor, plant houses of prayer, and proclaim the return of Jesus across the earth.
